Kevin
Christopher
– the founder
Kevin is an entrepreneur, patent and trademark attorney, and reformed rock climber. He leads the technology team in Southtown’s brother group Rockridge Venture Law, but his true passion is helping businesses create strategic, effective, and most importantly, monetizable IP protection around creative assets. Kevin has been named a 2019 Business Leader of the Year by Conscious Company Magazine, a 2019 Rising Star by Super Lawyers, and a Leadership Tennessee 2020 member in recognition of his entrepreneurial and corporate social responsibility work across the State.
Outside of his entrepre-tech career, Kevin has published widely on a range of topics including the scientific integrity of climate change, renewable energy policy, corporate social responsibility, tax treatment of patent pools, and even three volumes of original poetry in the UC Berkeley student journal To An Unknown God. He has served as Net Impact Board Fellow to San Francisco based Independent Arts & Media, and is a current board member to nonprofits IMPACT, GreenSpaces, and Mustard Seed Ranch. He is also presently an advisor to the Bethesda Green Hub, Nashville Entrepreneur Center, and Singularity University Ventures.
Kevin’s unfulfilled consumer product wishlist includes Rich Froning bicep bookends, Nutella-graham-cracker nitro beer, and nano-drone car key retrieval systems. You can read more about his work here.
